The USA Water Polo Junior Olympic Championships is the largest age group water polo tournament in the Nation. Athletes and teams come from across the country to compete on the national stage. The Junior Olympics Tournament consists of three divisions, the Championship Division, Classic Division and Invitational Division dependent upon the number of teams wishing to compete in that age group. Teams compete over a 4-day period within their respective age category.

As we are gearing up for Spring session to start we are also trying to plan ahead for Junior Olympics this summer.  Junior Olympics (JO's) is a FOUR day tournament made up of teams all of over the country.   Each team must qualify first in a two day tournament held in early June.  A-Town Water Polo Club has taken teams the past two years.  We are hoping to take teams this year as well.  In the past we have also combined with other local clubs to form a team.   This has allowed more local kids to participate.

A few key points before you fill out the survey:

• At this point we are just wanting to find out who out there is interested.
• Showing interest does not guarantee a spot on a team.  
•  If needed try outs will be held.
• It is also not a guarantee that we will have enough kids in each age group to take a team.
• If your child is in 12u or 10u there is a possibility they will be on a coed team.  Please note coed teams play during Session II.
• Last year some boys combined with SLO to attend Junior Olynpics in Texas and had a great time.  We have added that as an option for our 18u BOYS.
• There is also an additional cost for JO's beyond normal registration fees.  While fees are not yet determined for this year, last year the JO cost was $350.
